The Digital Taxidermy Process!

Digital Taxidermy is not a filter, and it is not instant AI art.

It is a handcrafted process that combines advanced artificial intelligence with thousands of real-world wildlife references, traditional artistic judgment, and careful compositing to preserve a moment exactly as it was experienced.

AI is only the engine. Before it can be used, it must be trained. That training requires thousands of photographs for each animal type—different ages, body structures, antler growth patterns, fur conditions, environments, and lighting scenarios. Wildlife does not exist in a controlled studio, and there are no pre-made systems designed for this work.

Every dataset used in Digital Taxidermy is built manually on a personal system through months and years of collecting, studying, training, testing, and refining. Scenery, anatomy, and lighting are treated as separate disciplines and then brought together carefully, layer by layer, to ensure realism and biological accuracy.

Each final piece is individually composed and finished by hand. Nothing is mass-produced. Nothing is copied. The goal is not perfection, but authenticity—an image that feels lived in, honest, and true to the memory it represents.

Digital Taxidermy preserves the story without preserving the body. It creates gallery-quality artwork that honors the animal, the experience, and the moment itself—without shortcuts.
